In our fully equipped workshop we are capable of taking on any job you require to your Volkswagen, whether it's an electrical or mechanical problem, a routine service or body and paintwork.

We have the tools and expertise to rebuild your car whether it's failed a MOT test or needs a full restoration, we have 3 types of welding apparatus available to us, we braze joints as per factory specification, & spot and MIG weld as required.

We have full paint-shop facilities and over 28 years experience of body and paintwork. To enable welding to your car we have a system to roll the car over 90 degrees, and a two post lift, which is also used in servicing/maintenance work. To assemble/test your engine we have a mobile engine test bench, which combined with the diagnostic tools enables us to assess/fix your engine faster.

A bit about us.

We are a small, family owned garage, the workforce currently consists of my apprentice Jimmy, and myself, Richard. Although we do sometimes employ other trusted professionals to help us.

Jimmy came to us from school, after one of his teachers convinced me that he was/is a great kid with potential, he has now worked with me for the last two years and is currently in his third year of day release apprenticeship. He is proving to be a valuable asset to my business and is fully capable of completing any task he attempts.

I have been involved with the Volkswagen scene since leaving school in 1982 and buying my first Volkswagen, prior to this my parents always had air-cooled Volkswagens and my interests started as a young child.

I have learnt my trade and skills working on modern cars of the 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's but have no interest in them, so I now apply the knowledge and skill I've gained throughout my career and apply it to working on air-cooled Volkswagens, mainly from the 1960's to date.

We are a fairly small garage, but we have invested heavily in tools and machinery in the last 3 years to make the work we do on your Volkswagen better and faster.
