We keep the basic and premium 1600cc engines and the 1641cc in stock, ready for immediate dispatch, all other engines are built to your requirements, most within 7 days of ordering. This is because these engines are the most popular and it is not economical to stock all engines.

The engines are available as long blocks for DIY fitment or we can assemble all the tin-ware and ancillaries etc and fit it for you.

BASIC ENGINES -
Our basic Type 1 & 2 engines make use of re-manufactured crankcases and cylinder heads. Brand new pistons and cylinders are fitted. A brand new 009 distributor is also fitted to each engine.

PREMIUM ENGINES -
These engines represent excellent value for money, built using either new or re-conditioned
crankcases, all are fitted with brand new twin port cylinder heads, pistons, cylinders and a
009 distributor.

Built using either new or re-conditioned crankcases, all are fitted with brand new twin port cylinder heads, pistons, cylinders with a mild sports camshaft also a brand new 009 distributor.

Built using a brand new crankcase, featuring new big valve 044 cylinder heads, an Engle 110 camshaft with a lightened flywheel. A brand new 009 distributor, high pressure oil pump bolt up rocker shaft and swivel foot adjusters. Ideal engine for use with twin carburettors

Rounded Rectangle: HOT RUN TESTED
All our engines are hot run tested, this means that we temporarily install carburettors and other ancillary parts to actually fire them up to run a series of tests before they receive our seal of approval.

HOW TO ORDER!
Once you have decided on the specifications for your new engine, you can phone, fax, or e-mail your order to us.
Your new engine will be delivered in a wooden crate, this crate must be used when returning your old unit,
(your old engine must also be drained of oil first!)
Delivery cost of new engine is £40.00
Return of your old engine is £40.00
This cost is to mainland UK only.
Re-buildable engine cores must be returned for credit within 60 days of the original purchase.
All cores returned will be accepted on a like for like basis, i.e. if you buy a 1600cc unit we must receive a 1600cc unit in return not a 1200cc. If you do not return the same type of engine the core charge WILL NOT BE REFUNDED!
The core charge fee is £200.00.
Please note this does not apply to all of the performance engines.
